PC boys soccer team defeats Edison

Port Clinton Boys soccer team hosted Edison Monday night. It was the last regular season game for 2013. Port Clinton won by a score of 5 to 1. The goals were scored by Simon Shulz (2), Nathan Stubblefield (2) and Will Mercurio (1). Assists were provided by Nathan Stubblefield (1) and Josh Brown (1). Tytan Rumball had 9 saves in goal. Port Clinton’s regular season record ended at 11-5-0 overall and 7-3-0 for the conference.

Walleye Madness fundraiser this Saturday

The Walleye Madness Committee is holding a fundraiser at Mango Mama’s located at 40 Madison Street on Saturday, Oct. 19, beginning at 8 p.m.

The theme of this year’s fall fundraiser is again “Conga for the Cause”, with entertainment by The Island Doctor.  

Also participating at this year’s fundraiser is a  talented tropical artist whose works can be viewed at www.LatitudeAttitudes.com. He will have a print to be raffled and original tropical art for sale.
