Port Clinton Yacht Club hosted 32 Laser class boats at a Regional Qualifier Regatta on May 18 and 19. They had great wind for Saturday and got six races in, but no wind on Sunday and they had to abandon the remainder of the regatta. Still, the Laser skippers were thrilled with the hospitality of PCYC and the competence of the Race Committee and indicated that they want to come back. Their first session of PCYC’s popular “Learn to Sail” program starts Monday, June 10.
