Redskin Bowlers lose to Eagles

Port Clinton's Redskin Bowlers traveled to Tri County Bowl in Woodville Friday and were swept by the Eagles, knocking the Redskin Boys out of first place in the Northern Ohio Bowling Conference.
   The Redskins moved ahead during the first two team games by rolling games of 990-997 to the Eagles 982-982 to grab a 23 pin lead going into Baker.

Congressman Latta Sworn in to 113th Congress

Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) was sworn in to the 113th Congress on Thursday, Jan. 3, at noon by House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH). Following the official oath of office, Speaker Boehner conducted a ceremonial swearing-in, where he joined Congressman Latta and his family for a photo opportunity.

PC boys defeat Edison, notch second victory

The Port Clinton boys got their second win of the season, defeating Edison, 55-49, in SBC action.

The 'Skins, who led 29-26 at halftime, pushed the lead to 45-35 after three quarters before the Chargers rallied to make a game of it.

Nathan Stubblefield had 18 points and Brock Moore chipped in with 11.

Edison's Luke Frankboner led all scorers with 25 points and Shane Crooks finished with nine.
