Port Clinton routs Rossford, 47-14

Port Clinton quarterback Brandon Moore winds up for a long toss downfield against Rossford

After winning just one game in the last two season, Port Clinton has opened this year with a 2-0 record. 

The Redskins came out firing on all cylinders Friday, scoring 33 points in the first quarter on their way to a 47-14 victory over Rossford in non-conference action.

Port Clinton Middle School Lesson in Surface Tension

Ahmyre McCree and Michaela Ferrell test water tension in Port Clinton Middle School Science.

Students in Mr. Jared Rhode’s Fleet 7 Science class at Port Clinton Middle School recently had a lesson in water tension.  During a classroom experiment, students tested how soap affected the surface tension of water.  Students dropped water on a penny and counted the drops to see how many can fit on the surface.  They developed a hypothesis and worked in teams to see how soap affected the tension and then analyzed the results.
