Obituary — Sean Riznikove

Feb. 4, 1971 — April 10, 2012

Sean Riznikove, 41, of Mentor, Ohio, formerly of Port Clinton, passed away April 10, 2012, at his home. He was born Feb. 4, 1971, in Port Clinton, the son of Allyn and Carol (Craig) Riznikove.
Sean graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1989. He received his Bachelor of Science from Ohio Northern University in 1993, and his Master of Science from the University of California/Santa Barbara. He served as a Teaching Assistant at UC/Santa Barbara. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon in college. Throughout his career he has worked at ISP Fine Chemicals, Amgen Chemicals and Ricerca. Besides enjoying his career in research chemistry, Sean enjoyed hiking the Adirondacks, camping and music.

He was a son, brother, uncle, friend, an all-around great guy to all who knew and loved him, always smiling, always fun to be around. Sean will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
Survivors include his parents and three sisters: Lisa (Robert Troy) Riznikove of Los Angeles, Amanda Riznikove of Port Clinton and Megan Riznikove of Los Angeles; nephew Devin Feuhrer; and nieces Emily Feuhrer and Marley Jo Troy.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at Oak Harbor United Methodist Church, 360 Ottawa St., Oak Harbor. The family will receive friends an hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Adirondack Mountain Club, National Resource Development Council or Oak Harbor United Methodist Church.
