Obituary — Evelyn Bauser

Jan. 29, 1921 — July 17, 2012
Evelyn M. Bauser, 91, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday, July 17, at her residence. She was born Jan. 29, 1921, in Port Clinton, the daughter of Horace and Dorothy (Goode) Runion. She married Charles Bauser on Feb. 8, 1942, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1999.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Sorensen’s Market, Burkowitz Ford Dealership and A. T. Emmett. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Port Clinton, and the Port Clinton American Legion Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler, golfer and reader.
Surviving are her daughter, Diane (Finley) Barfield of Fairborn, Ohio; sisters Janet Charline Karul, of Port Clinton, and Virginia Marcinek, of Lakeland, Fla,; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and sister, Thelma Maxine Hudec.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, where visitation will be held Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.

Amie R. Hyde, 98, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday, July 17, at Riverview Senior Healthcare Campus in Oak Harbor.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton St., Port Clinton. Prayers will begin at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 20, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison St., Port Clinton, with the Rev. John C. Missler officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.

Obituary — John Trimble

Oct. 17, 1942 — July 13, 2012
John L. Trimble, 69, of Port Clinton, died Friday, July 13, at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky.
Visitation will be held at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton St., Port Clinton, from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, with funeral services following at 4 p.m. with the Rev. John C. Missler officiating. Cremation will then take place with burial at a later date.

Obituary — Gilbert Park

Oct. 18, 1942 — July 6, 2012
Gilbert H. Park, 69, of Silver Springs, Fla., and formerly Port Clinton, Ohio died Friday, July 6, at Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Gainesville, Fla., following a brief illness.
He was born on Oct. 18, 1942, the son of Howard and Rose (Sebestiano) Park. Gilbert served in the United States Navy 1959-1963 and was proud to be a Veteran. He was a retired Carpenter and Building Contractor, most recently self employed, retiring in 2007. Gilbert enjoyed snowmobiling, golfing, traveling, camping, fishing and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his faithful dog, Curley, who he has now been reunited with.
On Sept. 11, 1992 he married Robbie Jean Lollis in Tennessee and she survives. Also surviving are his daughter, Roseann (Rob) Hickman, Port Clinton, and son, Gilbert H. Park Jr., Oak Harbor; sister, Ida (James) Patterson, Baileyton, Ten.; brother, Dennis (Sharon) Park, Oak Harbor, Ohio: grandchildren, Dallas Trumbull, Marion, Ohio, Dustin (Rachel) Trumbull, Port Clinton, Tracey (Andrea) Park, Fremont, and Andrew Park, Oak Harbor; great grandchildren Ryleigh Trumbull, Gage Freyman, Charlotte Freyman, Kennedy Trumbull, Nevaeh Park and Mia Park; and many nieces and nephews.
Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Delores DeMars and Janet Park, brothers Scott Park and Delbert Park and grandson, Tyler Shane Trumbull.
At Gilbert’s request, cremation services have taken place at Moring Funeral Home in Melrose, Fla. A memorial service will be held for the family at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Voluntary Service Office, 1601 SW Archer Road., Gainesville, FL 32608 in memory of Gilbert H. Park.

Obituary — Mildred Stein

March 4, 1913 — July 1, 2012
Mildred Agnes Stein (nee Bednarik), 98, of Catawba Island, passed away on Sunday, July 1.
Prayers and visitation were held at the Busch Funeral Home in Parma last week with interment in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland.
