Wedding — Lukac-Myers

Amy Suzanne Lukac and Tyler Joseph Myers exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, Oct. 3, at St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. The Rev. James N. Lehman officiated.
Parents of the bride are James Lukac and Patricia Lukac, Danbury Township. Parents of the groom are Timothy and Sharon Myers, Ashland. Grandparents of the bride are Joan Lukac and Kenneth and Katherine Limestahl, Port Clinton. Grandparents of the groom are Kenneth and Arlene Myers, Nova, Ohio, and Delbert and Portia Gribben, Ashland.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father James. The bride wore a white satin A-line gown with beaded embroidered metallic bodice and inverted V empire with a cathedral train.

Wedding — Sandoval-Puffenberger

Synthia Diane Sandoval and Adam Dane Puffenberger were married July 4 at Los Abrigados Resort in Sedona, Ariz. Officiating the ceremony was Judge Jack R. Puffenberger, uncle and godfather of the groom.
Synthia is the daughter of Tony Sandoval, Flagstaff, Ariz., and Delfina Sandoval, Tucson, Ariz. She is a graduate of Sinagua High School and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Synthia is currently attending The Ohio State University, pursuing her masters/PhD in child clinical psychology, with a planned graduation date of 2012.
Adam is the son of Jim and Bernie Puffenberger of Flagstaff, Ariz., and also is a graduate of Sinagua High School and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is currently in his last year of law school at Moritz College of Law at Ohio Northern University.

McCafferty-Bryden

Kara K. McCafferty and Scott Howard Bryden were married Oct. 17 in Port Clinton. 
Kara, daughter of Patricia McCafferty, East Lansing, Michigan, is a 1992 graduate of St. Joseph Academy and a 1996 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University.  She is currently employed with JoAnn Fabrics. 
Scott, son of Joan and Jeff Bryden, of Port Clinton, is a 1995 graduate of Rocky River High School and a 2003 graduate of Bowling Green State University. He is employed with OfficeMax.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother. Maid of honor was the bride’s cousin, Lisa Gossman. Bridesmaids were April Hennessy-Davis and Sarah Hennessy.

Wedding — Yonski-May

Dayna Marie Yonkoski and Kevin Michael May were married March 19, 2009, on the beach in Paamul, Mexico.
Dayna, daughter of Ron and Debbie Yojnkoski, Ann Arbor, Mich., is a 2000 graduate of Ann Arbor High School and a 2004 graduate of Indiana University. She is currently employed at Epic Systems Corp.
Kevin, son of Mark and Sharon May, Port Clinton, is a 2001 graduate of Port Clinton High School and a 2004 graduate of Indiana University. He is emzployed with the Oregon, Wis., School District. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Erica Dunkel. Bridesmaids were Angela Galaidi, Abbey DeWaar and Lauren Dragntsky, all friends of the bride.
Best men were David and Eric May, brothers of the groom. Ushers were Blair and Joseph Yonkoski, brothers of the bride.
A reception for 200 guests was held on June 6 in Ann Arbor. The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico, and will reside in Oregon, Wis.

Wedding — Eckel-Knox

Ashley Eckel and Brian Knox were married June 27, 2009 at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead. Fr. Daniel Ring performed the ceremony. Ashley, the daughter of Paul and Kathy Eckel, Marblehead, graduated with her Master’s in Social work from the Ohio State University in June 2008.
Knox, son of Tom and Lee Knox, Solon, Ohio, graduated with a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University in December 2009. He is currently a design engineer for Blue Origin, Seattle.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
