Ferguson Gallery to celebrate 35 years in business with open house

In 1979 Cary Ferguson put his dreams into action opening Ferguson Gallery. Ferguson is inviting the public to come and see the landmark achievements of his success. The open house, which will be held June 7 and 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., is intended to show gratitude to the loyal customers and dear friends that have supported the business over the years. As a thank you from Ferguson, there will be a paperweight glass making extravaganza for only $28 a person (regularly $68) along with free food and drinks for everyone in attendance.

The open house will also feature painting, photography and glass blowing demonstrations by resident artists Rick Dziak (OPA), Dave Kyle (Cleveland Cavaliers photographer), Cary Ferguson and Deborah Prue. Rick Dziak, Ferguson Gallery’s newest feature artist, will be doing oil painting demonstrations in his newly decorated showroom space. For many visitors to the gallery, this will be the first time they see the brand new showroom featuring Dziak’s work. The new showroom is the most recent addition to the floor space at Ferguson Gallery.

The glass blowing workshop is on a first come, first serve basis so Ferguson encourages people to come early to get a spot. For more information about this event or to contact Ferguson Gallery, call 419-734-0600.
