David J. Waterhouse, 74, of Oak Harbor, died Wednesday, October 1, at his home.  He was born on April 23, 1940, in Watseka, IL to Warren and Thelma (Fields) Waterhouse.

Visitation will be at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor, from 2-8 p.m., Monday, October 6, with the family present 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 7, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor, with burial to follow in Rusha Cemetery, Oak Harbor, with military graveside services. Paul Nelson Krofft Feb. 4, 1918-Oct. 2, 2014

Paul Nelson Krofft, 96, of Port Clinton, passed away, Thursday, October 2, at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton.  Paul was born on February 4, 1918 in Continental, OH, the son of Louis Nelson and Dorothy Cleota (Huggins) Krofft.  

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Monday, October 6, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.  Prayers will be recited at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 7, in the funeral home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Father John Missler at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 7, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton.  Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Paul may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or Stein Hospice.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.

Joan L. Beaver April 15, 1940-Sept. 28, 2014

Joan L. Beaver, 74, of Port Clinton, died Sunday, September 28, at Riverview Nursing Home Oak Harbor. She was born April 15, 1940 in Youngstown, to the late Fred and Alice (Armstrong) Kollmann.  On August 1, 1944, she married Dennis Beaver and he survives. Joan was a teacher. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton.  Joan also was a member of the Port Clinton Yacht Club.  She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Survivors include: Husband: Dennis Beaver; Sister: Mary Alice (John) Schaffner of Port Clinton; Brothers: Richard (Judith) Kollman of Hudson, OH and James ( Valerie ) Kollmann of Avon Lake, OH: and several loving nieces & nephews.   Joan was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Fred E. Kollman. 

Friends may call from 9-10 a.m., Saturday, October 4, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, followed by prayers recited at 10 a.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.   Online condolences may be shared with the family at walkerfuneralhomes.com.
