Tennis Coaches Association honors scholar-athletes

Last week, the Ohio Tennis Coaches’ Association presented its Scholar-Athlete Awards for girls’ tennis.
Oak Harbor’s Gold Racquet Awards went to Emily Macko, Hannah Sigurdson and Kristina Blatt. Silver Racquet Awards went to Katie Mehlow and Julia Konieczny.
Gold Racquet Award winners must be seniors that have earned two varsity letters in tennis and maintained at least a 3.75 GPA for six semesters while a Silver Racquet Award winner must be a junior who has earned two varsity letters in tennis and maintained at least a 3.75 GPA for four semesters.
