Top winter student-athletes honored at PCHS

Port Clinton High School recently held its annual Winter Sports Awards Program. Student athletes, parents and coaches gathered in the Performing Arts Center to recognize to student-athletes that earned All-SBC, All-District Honors and SBC All-Academic Awards.

Sandusky Bay Conference Honors and District Team honors were announced separately. Afterward, each team had individual breakout sessions or a separate program to present the following special awards.

Wrestling: Tomahawk Award – Mason Elson, Westin Laird; Captain Award – Carson Smith; Jonathon T. Pope Award – Luciano Alvarez; Most Pins – Carson Smith; Most Takedowns – Jameson Mullens; Most Team Points – Jameson Mullens; Coach’s Award – Mason Elson, Brandon King.
