PORT CLINTON – The Magruder Hospital Foundation hosted a successful fundraiser which raised vital funds to purchase a specialized surgery table that will enhance care for patients undergoing hip surgeries.

Grapes and Grains, held at Twin Oast Brewing on Oct. 9, brought together community members, hospital staff and generous donors, all united by a common goal – to support the advancement of orthopedic surgical care at Magruder Hospital. The fundraiser exceeded expectations thanks to the enthusiastic participation and support from attendees, local businesses and sponsors. A special thanks goes to Hal and Diane Hawk and Crown Battery as the Title Sponsor of the Event. The funds raised will go directly toward the surgical table. This crucial investment will improve surgical outcomes, patient comfort and recovery times.

“We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from our community,” said Kim Palmer, Fundraising Coordinator at Magruder Hospital. “This specialized table will allow our surgical team to provide even better care to patients undergoing hip surgeries, right here in Port Clinton.”

The new equipment is part of Magruder Hospital’s ongoing commitment to providing advanced, patient-centered care close to home. The foundation’s efforts play a key role in making technological upgrades and improvements possible.
