Salvation Army ringing bells for ‘Christmas in July’

The Salvation Army will celebrate its “Christmas in July” Red Kettle Campaign this weekend, with bell ringers in action on Saturday and Sunday, July 26-27 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. The Salvation Army Red Kettle sites will be set up at the Twin Oast and Friendship Food Stores in Port Clinton and Catawba Island to support The Port Clinton Salvation Army Service Unit.

Bell ringers might still be needed. To ring the bell for “Christmas in July” or make a donation, contact Director Maureen Saponari at 419-732-2769, 1834 East Perry St., Port Clinton, or Maureen.saponari@use.salvationarmy.org
