Continuing to show support for the community, the contributors of SIMPLE GESTURES provided the Port Clinton City School District with five boxes with 823 bars, bags, and cups of nutritional snacks. The treats will be added to the 400 take-out meals picked up by families at various sites before spring break. “I sent out a need request with only a few days of turnaround time and, as usual, SG Contributors heeded the call. They wanted to be part of helping during this awful coronavirus. I am so proud of them!” said organizer Kathy Jo Schweitzer of Port Clinton. While “social distancing,” Schweitzer, right, dropped off the snacks and treats to Pam Bacon, Port Clinton School District Food Service Director.
