A delicious new dining option to be ‘Que’d’ up in Port Clinton

After 15 years of serving up sushi and entertainment at the hibachi tables, Nagoya Port Clinton owners, Barb and Mel Ayers, are planning a winter renovation that will bring southern BBQ to the Lake Erie Islands area. With inspiration from Carolina to Memphis and many BBQ hotspots in between, Port Clinton residents and visitors can look forward to enjoying “The Que.”

“While it was a very difficult personal decision to close Nagoya Port Clinton after so many years, we know that our new concept, The Que, will help us remain fresh and competitive in the industry and we believe our design, menu and staff are going to be wildly embraced by the community when we re-open in the spring,” said Barb and Mel Ayers.

The Que will feature a fresh kitchen with all homemade menu options. From smoked brisket and ribs to mac n’ cheese and fried okra, The Que will serve up Southern BBQ in a relaxed casual atmosphere that welcomes families, friends, Sunday game watchers and date night memory makers.

Nagoya can still be enjoyed until the restaurant closes after New Year’s Eve. Mel Ayers also reminds Nagoya lovers that Nagoya Perrysburg in Levis Commons is just a short drive away and will be open for years to come. Gift cards purchased at the Port Clinton location will always be welcomed at the Perrysburg location.

“We are so grateful to everyone who have supported us at Nagoya over the years as well as all of our incredible staff. We are excited to bring The Que to you this spring!” said the Ayers.
