
The Port Clinton Artists’ Club is hosting an art show at the Sutton Center in Port Clinton, “Above the Soles, This Show Was Made for Walking,” that is now open through Monday, Nov. 30. The Port Clinton Artists’ Club (PCAC) is sponsoring an art show fundraiser at the Sutton Center in Port Clinton titled “Above the Soles, This Show Was Made for Walking.” Proceeds from sales will support the club’s Ottawa County high school art awards. All entries have been donated by local artists, and will include renditions of shoes as the inspiration for the art.
“Above the Soles” is open to the public on Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will run through Monday, Nov. 30.
Patrons are encouraged to enjoy breakfast or lunch at the pay-it-forward Bistro 163 restaurant located in the Sutton Center before or after viewing. Covid-19 restrictions require masks and social distancing.
Professional judges have presented ribbons in the following categories: Creativity; Use of Medium; Technical Skill; and Best of Show. Each category also received an honorable mention acknowledgement.
The PCAC also have a show that has opened at the Magruder Hospital Healing Wall sponsored by the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council. The PCAC showcases member art throughout the year at Dublin Properties, 127 Madison St., Port Clinton. Art lovers can see and purchase member art at banks and other locations in Ottawa County.
