Port Clinton High School announced that Andrew Fillmore and Alexis Yoh have earned Senior Spotlights for January.
Andrew Fillmore is a four-year member of the Port Clinton High School Orchestra serving as Concert Master. During four years of competition on the boys tennis team, Fillmore has served as team captain for two years and was a three-time district qualifier. Many may know Andrew from the Performing Arts Center stage as a four-year member of Drama Club and Thespian.
Fillmore is also a member of National Honor Society, cross country team, Freshmen Mentor, and captain of the Firelands Challenge Team. He is active in his church helping with the annual Men’s Spaghetti Dinner. Next year he plans to major in Actuarial Science. Heis the son of Steve and Theresa Fillmore.
Alexis Yoh is a talented student active in many of the activities Port Clinton High School has to offer, as well as involved in our community. She is a member of the Portage Resale Youth Council, which assists the Portage Resale Center in distributing funds to our community. Yoh was captain of the PCHS volleyball team this past season and will be a four-year member of the Redskin Track team. For the last four years, she has also participated in the PCHS Orchestra, National Honor Society, Drama Club, and is a past member of PCHS Leadership Council. Alexis is the daughter of Nanette and Mike Yoh. Next year she plans to study biochemistry at Clemson University.
