Melissa Candage’s fourth graders at Immaculate Conception School in Port Clinton took to being scientists this week as they dove in and dissected different species of flowers. The class learned the names of the parts of the flower and looked for similarities and differences under their magnifying glasses. Hands on science is a specialty of Candage, as her students learn by seeing and doing!
