PORT CLINTON – The Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council will host a Third Thursdays Art Walk in The District in downtown Port Clinton on Aug. 21. The event will feature baskets, candles, vintage maps, photography, acrylic paintings and face painting. Whether you are an adult or a child, the face painter is incredible and can paint whatever you come up with. Enjoy Bob Gatewood Nomad Soul Acoustic Group on the stage during the Art Walk, and several restaurants will be open for dine-in or carryout to eat outside in The District.

Tickets for a Pet Portrait Raffle will be on sale during the Art Walks. The winner will receive an original portrait of the pet by popular local artist, Dave Peltier, a resident artist at The Arts Garage, located at 317 W. Perry St. in Port Clinton. The Arts Garage is Thursday – Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
