The Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council will be hosting “Boats, Brushes, & Beer,” a unique silent auction of four boat propellers and other nautical equipment that has been refurbished and hand-decorated by local artists.

The artistic event is Saturday, Aug. 10 from 6-10 p.m. at SkipperBud’s Marina Del Isle, 6801 E. Harbor Rd., Marblehead. Come to the showroom to enjoy art, live music, food and fun.

Premier Tickets are $100 and only 50 are available. Each person who purchases a $100 ticket will have the chance to choose a piece of unsigned original artwork, by one of 50 of the best and brightest artists in the area. The name of each artist will be revealed as the pieces are selected by the ticket holders.

General admission tickets are $50, and include entry to the event, two drink tickets, heavy hors d’oeuvres and entertainment.

Clinton House, Rudder’s, Cheesehaven and Cleats will provide the food. Local craft brews and other libations will be available. The B-Sides and Bella Burdella will perform. Ohio Telecom is an entertainment sponsor.
