Artist Shelby Bork had recently moved to Port Clinton a year ago, and her exhibit of block prints, watercolors and henna paintings was judged to be Best in Show at Arts in the Park.
The Port Clinton Artists’ Club is hosting its fine art and crafts festival Arts in the Park on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 6-7, at Lakeview Park in Port Clinton. Ottawa County’s premier festival hosts more than 100 artists from around the Midwest and beyond to display and sell their original art for two fun-filled days.
Arts in the Park will be held from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday. The festival is free to the public, and also includes a Children’s Make and Take, entertainment, and a delicious offering of food, including Lake Erie yellow perch.
The spacious Lakeview Park is on the shores of Lake Erie and has permanent restrooms, a large playground, basketball court and plenty of sandy beach for families to roam.
