I was wondering if you could tell me was happening at Danbury School District on Sept. 26. I saw many emergency vehicles and roads were blocked off.

Well! Hellloooooo!

I swam the bank of Lake Erie in Ottawa County and ran into the quite lovely editor, D’Arcy Egan, of the largest community newspaper printed in Northwestern Ohio. Here is what Mr. Egan said: “If you noticed emergency vehicles at the school today (Monday, Sept. 26), there was no cause for alarm. Danbury School District officials were holding their planned annual evacuation drill that afternoon.”
