Audrey M. Sztuk, 98, of Port Clinton passed away Jan. 13 at Elmwood Care Center, Fremont. She was born on May 8, 1922, in Port Clinton, to the late Harold and Daisy (Seems) Jeremy. On Nov. 30, 1941 Audrey married Edward P Sztuk and he preceded her in death on April 18, 1991.
Audrey was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton. She and her husband, Ed, enjoyed Polka dancing and their home was always filled with love and laughter. Audrey was an exceptional athlete, especially golf and bowling.
Survivors include her children: Mary Lou (Ray) Suhrbier, Ed Sztuk, Jim (Leanne) Sztuk, grandchildren: Patick (Dana) Lowien, Sydney Sztuk, Rylee Sztuk, great granddaughters: Anna, Emily and Elisa. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister: Lucille Brown, daughter and son-in-law: Tana and Lewis “Skip” Lowien.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, Jan. 19, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison St, Port Clinton, with Father Jon Wight celebrant. Burial followed in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions may be made to a Charity of the donor’s choice.
