Cajon Keeton, the Benton-Carroll-Salem School (B-C-S) Treasurer, was asked to provide Interim Treasurer services for the Ottawa Hills Local School District for a short period of time while they search for a new Treasurer. The Ottawa Hills Local School District reached out to Keeton after the resignation of their current treasurer effective on Friday, Oct. 20, 2023.

Keeton was the former President of the Treasurer’s Association (OASBO) and has provided guidance and assistance with other schools. He has fought tirelessly at the state level to retain funds for the Benton-Carroll-Salem School District. Keeton brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to assist Ottawa Hills as it transitions to a new treasurer.

“At B-C-S we pride ourselves at being one of the top academic schools in Northwest Ohio,” said Keeton. “I am excited to gain experience from another top performing school in Ohio.”

The Ottawa Hills Local School District will soon begin their search for a permanent replacement. Keeton will remain the Treasurer of the Benton-Carroll-Salem School District. The Board of Education will soon approve a shared service agreement.
