A national fundraising event, Back the Blue officials report that now more than ever, law enforcement officials need to strengthen the bonds of trust with their communities. The race was founded by a former police officer who was injured in the line of duty.
Black and Blue partners with local supporters of the men and women in blue to put on a 5K race, with a share of the revenue going to a law enforcement agency or a police-supported charity of their choice. Back the Blue has dozens of local partners across the country who work with them to provide the best event possible for their communities.
