Barb graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1967 and attended Bowling Green State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Education. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, being a collector of hummels, crystal, and lladrus, cooking, traveling, eating ice cream, and dancing. She was an avid sports fan, especially Notre Dame, and the Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavaliers. Her love for animals was evident by the numerous stray cats that she had taken in and cared for over the years, which led her to do volunteer work at the Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary. Most importantly, she loved her family dearly, and enjoyed family gatherings and babysitting her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her husband, Don; son, Christopher Drusbacky, Port Clinton; sisters, Sandy (Joseph) Prater, Kenton, Ohio, Kathleen Bush, York, Pennsylvania; brothers, Phillip (Debbie) Wierzba, Catawba Island, Mark Wierzba, Port Clinton, and Keith Wierzba, Sandusky; eleven nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
