German brews and taste treats will benefit Barktoberfest and the Ottawa County Humane Society at Mutach’s Market on Marblehead on Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 6-8:30 p.m.

The Wine Room at Mutach’s is holding Barktoberfest, a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Ottawa County, on Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 6-8:30 p.m.

Owner Lisa Kiedrowski will offer beer tasting by the Thirsty Dog Brewery, as well as German food and treats. There will be live music.

Tickets are $30 and available at Mutach’s Wine Bar and Mutach’s Market, 8037 E. Harbor Rd., Marblehead and at the Humane Society, 2424 E. Sand Rd., Port Clinton.

The Humane Society office is open Tuesday and Thursday from10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday from noon to 5 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
