Second grade students at Bataan Memorial Primary Elementary presented Nathan Holman of the local Wreaths Across America committee with a $237 donation.
Port Clinton School District had a “Pay it Forward” challenge in November as part of the district’s R Factor program. Students and staff were challenged to look for opportunities to do great or small things for others and make it happen.
Even the youngest students at Bataan Memorial Primary did great things to help the community. Second grade students, with the help of teacher Jennifer Keeton, organized a school-wide pajama day and raised $237 for the Ottawa County Wreaths Across America program. Nathan Holman, representing the local Wreaths Across America committee, accepted the donation and spoke to students to explain what the program accomplishes.
