The Bellevue Community will celebrate the Christmas season with a holiday parade downtown on Thursday, Dec. 1. The parade lineup will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Central Park.
Sponsored by First National Bank, parade registration ends on Monday, Nov. 28.
All parade units must register. Only parade unit entries are permitted to park in the parade line-up and staging area. Gather in a designated place outside of the staging area and arrive together to your line-up location on foot.
Parade rules include: No one is permitted to ride on the hood of a vehicle; No throwing items from floats, cars, trucks or other units; You must walk curbside of street to pass out candy or other hand-outs; Drivers of any vehicle entered in the parade must be 18, have a legal driver’s license and carry liability auto insurance.
The parade route begins at the Bellevue Central Park parking lot. Turn left on North Street. Turn right on Lyme Street (Memorial Way). Turn right on E. Main Street (US 20). Turn right on Northwest Street. Turn right on North Street to dismiss left on North Sandusky Street.
Any participating parade groups/individuals release and discharge First National Bank from all claims, damages or theft in any manner arising out of participation in this event. All participants are responsible for their own parade units and vehicles.
