Bert R. Tomon, age 81, of Parma Heights. Beloved husband of 55 years of Virginia (nee Skwarlo). Dear father of Mark (Gail Stover), Annetherese Biesiada (Jeff) and Amy Tomon-Chamberlin (Matthew). Loving grandfather of Eric and Roger Biesiada. Brother of Barbara and Mike. Bert was a longtime attorney and funeral director in the Cleveland area. He enjoyed traveling the world, boating and getting a pilot’s license. He was a member of the Great Lakes Offshore Powerboat Racing Association. He was the law officer for the Bay Point Yacht Club. He was the past president of the Parma Bar Association and past president of the Cuyahoga Funeral Directors Association. He was also very proud of his Polish heritage. He passed away Monday, Dec. 25. Prayer service at the Funeral Home Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 9 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
