Artist and Author Kenn Kaufman of the Black Swamp Bird Observatory featured his books and artwork of a golden eagle in the “Feather to Frame, Visiting Birds, Local Artistry” show at The Arts Garage in Port Clinton on Sunday. Now it’s time for Kaufman and his wife, Kimberly, the Executive Director of the BSBO, and hundreds of volunteers to host tens of thousands of bird lovers in the region-wide Biggest Week in American Birding on Friday through May 15.
Kaufman and Greater Port Clinton Area Art Council members are raffling off Kaufman’s golden eagle painting, drawing the winning ticket during the closing ceremonies of the Biggest Week in American Birding at Maumee Bay Lodge and Conference Center.
