Bistro 163, the popular pay-it-forward diner in Port Clinton, will mark its 8th birthday on June 6 with a weeklong celebration. When the Bistro opened its doors on June 6, 2016, it took its first steps toward addressing food insecurity in the county. The Bistro’s mission was accomplished through a collaboration between the community, staff, volunteers, the board of directors and contributors.
Now, the Bistro wants the community to come together to celebrate eight years of joining hands to give the hungry a hand up. Bistro 163 will be open for lunch and a special birthday dessert through Saturday, June 8. Stop in any time between 11:00 and 2:00 to join in the birthday celebration.
Bistro 163 is located in the Sutton Center at 1848 Perry St. in Port Clinton. For more information, visit www.bistro163.org.
