Blue Streaks on winning streak

The Sandusky Blue Streaks Boys Varsity Basketball team has been on a winning streak with an impressive 5-0 overall and 2-0 record in the Sandusky Bay-Lake conference. As the year winds down, the Blue Streaks defeated the Clyde Fliers 61-51 on Dec. 22 in conference action. Following the holiday break, the Blue Streaks will play the Bellevue Redmen in a conference game on Thursday, Jan. 4.

The Sandusky Blue Streaks Girls Varsity Basketball team is also on a winning streak, which is now four games in a row. The Blue Streaks snapped an 11-game streak of losses on the road as the Clyde Fliers fell to the Blue Streaks 74-59 on Dec. 21. This was the most points scored by the Blue Streaks all season.

The Blue Streaks offense has been dominant over the last four games, scoring 264 points. The Blue Racers are 5-5 overall and 2-1 in the Toledo City Conference. The Blue Streaks start off the new year with a non-conference road game against the Madison Comprehensive Rams on Thursday, Jan. 4.
