Port Clinton Middle School Builder’s Club members (left to right) Sophia DiMario, Michaela Stork and Morgan Wiechman received business experience by volunteering at Bistro 163, the pay-it-forward restaurant in Port Clinton.

The Port Clinton Middle School Builders Club got involved with the local community by volunteering for a couple of Saturdays at Bistro 163 in Port Clinton. Students learned to prepare food and beverages, the proper set up for meals, and clean up duties at the pay-it-forward a restaurant. The young volunteers took orders and served guests as well.

Kerry Fial, the Builder’s Club advisor, noted the purpose of the Builder’s Club is to provide opportunities for working together in service to school and community, develop leadership potential, strong moral character, and encourage loyalty to school, community and nation.
