A reminder that 58th annual Ottawa County Fair is just around the corner on July 18-24, the The Ottawa County Jr. Fair Livestock Sale Committee is seeking additional donors for its Buyer’s Club, which provides an opportunity for anyone to support the 4-H and FFA youth exhibitors at the Ottawa County Fair’s livestock sale.

The Buyer’s Club works like this: Individuals or organizations who donate, will have their donations pooled with other club members to then make premium bids during the livestock sale itself on Friday, July 22, at 11 a.m.  Names of those in the club will be recognized during the sale, on signage at the Fairgrounds and in all post event materials.

The Buyer’s Club was created to provide another great opportunity to those who are either unable to attend the livestock sale itself or who wish to support the exhibitors in a group format. Through the generosity of wonderful individuals and organizations, the Buyer’s Club has become a great success for youth exhibitors.

Currently, more than 41 individuals and organization have donated to the 2022 Buyer’s Club. Deadline to join the 2022 Buyer’s Club is Friday, July 8.
