Captain Larry Richard Earls, USN (Ret), 83, of Marblehead, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16 surrounded by his family. He was born Nov. 3, 1937 in Marblehead, the son of George and Lena (Pepon) Earls.

Visitation was held Saturday, Dec. 19, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, Funeral Mass followed, celebrated by Father James Brown.
