The Progressive Catawba Island Boat Show on April 28-30 at the prestigious Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton is the harbinger of the spring boating and fishing season around the Lake Erie Erie Islands and Western Lake Erie. With a full fleet of power and sail boats in the water and on the shoreline, and marine exhibits, seminars, live music and food trucks to enjoy, the three-day show is a great way to begin the season. Show hours are Friday (noon-6 p.m.), Saturday (10 a.m.-6 p.m.) and Sunday (10 a.m.-5 p.m.). Online tickets are $8 each, tickets at the gate are $10 each, with free parking.
