Thanks to all of their loyal customers, the Catawba Island Garden Club has outgrown its plant sale space. The club wishes to express a special thanks to those at John Braun Park for many years of successful sales. The plant sale will be held on Saturday, May 11, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This year, the plant sale is moving to the Catawba Island Township Community Hall located at 3307 NW Catawba Rd. The new location allows the club to offer even more plants, including native plants and perennials, many from members’ gardens. The sale will also feature spectacular annuals, vegetables, herbs, Mother’s Day Plant gifts and club raffle baskets.

The club appreciates the many donations they receive each year from local nurseries, businesses and individuals who help make this sale a success. Proceeds from the plant sale go to various community parks and organizations.

Garden Club Vice President Sharon Sanger, as well as many other members, will be on hand to answer questions and help with selections. Look for club members wearing green club aprons.
