Charles F. “Chuck” Dobrowolski, Jr., 52, of Marblehead, passed away Aug. 21 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 15, 1969, in Sandusky, the son of Charles F. and Connie (Miller) Dobrowolski, Sr. Chuck graduated from Danbury High School in 1988 and The University of Toledo in 1994 with a degree in electrical engineering. He was a Nuclear Electrician for Davis Besse. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, a life member of the NRA and a member of IBEW Local 8. He was an avid hunter.
Surviving are his daughter: Lily Dobrowolski of Marblehead; mother: Connie (Michael) Biro of Lakeside; father: Charles (Denise) Dobrowolski, Sr. of Castalia; brother: Jeff (Sandy) Dobrowolski of Marblehead; grandmother: Janise Meggitt of Marblehead; niece: Monica (Michael Gregory) Dobrowolski of Oregon; nephew: Andrew Dobrowolski of Marblehead; great-niece Sofia Gregory; great-nephew: Beckett Gregory and his aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Randall Miller; grandparents: Walter and Mary Dobrowolski and his dog: Remington.
A Celebration of Chuck’s life will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, from 12 – 4 p.m. at Sandusky Amvets, 307 Putnam St. Sandusky, OH 44870.
