Mercedes Wise rings the Salvation Army bell for the
“Christmas in July” fundraiser at the Friendship
Port Clinton store on East Perry Street.
The Salvation Army-Port Clinton Service Unit is whole heartedly thanking Catawba Moorings and the Red Kettle sites at the Port Clinton and Catawba Friendship Food Stores and Twin Oast Brewery for making their “2019 Christmas in July” campaign a rousing success.
Catawba Moorings (Dockers with Donations) succeeded in collecting a shopping cart of non-perishable food and $1,982 in its kettle! With the collaboration of our bell-ringing sites at the Friendship Stores and Twin Oast Brewery the 2019 Christmas in July total campaign raised $3,495.
The Port Clinton Service Unit is proud to serve the local community and appreciates the generous response by residents and “weekend locals,” whose generous donations help The Salvation Army Port Clinton Service Unit continue its efforts in providing assistance for our community.
The Port Clinton Service Unit is presently accepting applications for its Tools for School Program. To make a donation to any of The Salvation Army-Ottawa County programs, call Director Maureen Saponari at 419-732-2769.
