Update: The following statement was release by the PC Chamber at 11:30 a.m on Saturday, May 29.
“This morning we met with officials from the City of Port Clinton regarding the status of WaterWorks Park/The Walleye Festival. At this time, city crews are working to pump our water and we are asking that no one enters the park. Today’s events are cancelled and we plan to assess things this afternoon and hopefully reopen the festival on Sunday 5/29/2021. Please follow our Facebook page for updates throughout the day.”

According to the following Facebook post on the Walleye Festival’s Facebook page, with the State of Emergency declared in the City of Port Clinton, they have cancelled the Grande Parade. They’re looking into rescheduling. We will update this page if more information is made available.
