Cleveland Fed appoints Dean Miller of First National Bank

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland announced appointments to its main office board of directors, including President and CEO Dean Miller of First National Bank, who was reelected as a director. First National Bank is based in Bellevue, and has two of its branches in Port Clinton.

Dwight E. Smith, president and chief executive officer of Sophisticated Systems, Inc., Columbus, was appointed chair of the board of directors. Smith served as deputy chair of the Cleveland board from 2018 to 2020 and as a director of the board since 2017.

Doris Carson Williams, president and chief executive officer, African American Chamber of Commerce of Western Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, Pa., was appointed deputy chair of the board and reappointed a director. Also named directors of the board were Cain Hayes, president and chief executive officer, Gateway Health, Pittsburgh, Pa.; and Heidi Gartland, chief government and community relations officer, University Hospitals, Cleveland.
