A massive blast by Evan Criswell was the crushing home run that toppled visiting Lexington in a division sectional final on Friday night. Clyde moves on to face Bellevue (16-8) in a district semifinal on Thursday at Fremont Ross.
Criswell had scored Blake Hershey with a sacrifice fly in the third inning to knot the score at 2-2, and in the fifth inning walloped the big dinger after Mason Gurney’s double to post the 4-2 winning score for Clyde (13-10). Lexington bowed out at 7-15.
