Coach Romero makes soccer a fun experience for all kids

Jose Romero helps Port Clinton Coach Paco Romero teach young soccer players skills at the Port Clinton Soccer Academy. Outdoor Spring Soccer Academy sessions begin Saturday, May 1 for children from 4 to 14 years old.

Port Clinton High School’s Head Soccer Coach Paco Romero and his staff, as well as members of the high school soccer team, will offer a Spring Port Clinton Redskin Soccer Academy.

The Spring session is an outdoor event designed to provide all schoolchildren, no matter their age or level of experience, an opportunity to be coached in the techniques and philosophy of the Port Clinton boys and girls high school soccer teams. The coaching staff will provide a fun and educational atmosphere as they help to develop individual and team skills.

The Spring Soccer Academy will take place on Saturday mornings either behind Port Clinton High School or at the stadium. Specific times are based on age level, and begin Saturday, May 1. Check the registration form at www.pccsd.net under the News header for specific session times and location details.

Cost is $25 for new participants. Checks need to be made payable to Port Clinton Schools. Coach Romero and his coaching staff look forward to another successful Port Clinton Redskin Soccer Academy.
