The Humane Society of Ottawa County is seeking persons to fill three open seats on its Board of Directors. A general election will be held at its meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Que Barbeque & Brew, 3975 E. Harbor Rd., Port Clinton.

People who are interested persons can obtain an application from the shelter office, 2424 E. Sand Rd., Port Clinton or call 419-734-5191 to have an application mailed to you. Applications are to be returned to the shelter by Thursday, Dec 17. Nominations for board membership will also be taken from the floor during the meeting.
