Custom car shows have long been popular around Port Clinton, and the Honk-About Car Show designed to thwart the Covid-19 pandemic will be back on the local roads starting on Sunday, May 2. The tours of Port Clinton will continue on the first Sunday of each month through Oct. 3.

Hosted by Kenny Holcomb and the Erie Shore Cruiser’s, the cars, trucks, motorcycles and their owners need to gather by 1:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Port Clinton City Hall on Buckeye Blvd., in Port Clinton. The parade will begin at 2 p.m.

No cost or membership is required. For information, contact Holcomb at 419-573-2171.

With their lights flashing and horns blaring, the long line of custom vehicles will be escorted on their journey up and down the city streets of Port Clinton by the Port Clinton Police and Fire Departments, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
