EDITOR’S NOTE: DaNasia Jackson was president of the Port Clinton High School Class of 2022 during all four of her award-winning years of high school.

“I would like to thank you all for coming out today and sharing these memories with us. The class of 2022 is different from every other class that has graduated from Port Clinton High School. We started high school normal, to having a Covid year, then having a remote year, to getting back to a semi-normal year to round it out.

These four years we have come together and stuck through it until the very end. In doing this we have shown that no matter what life throws at us, we are ready for it. As long as we keep the same attitude that we’ve had these past four years, we will achieve nothing short of greatness. I look forward to the days when we look back on the time spent here at Port Clinton High School as the good all days.

Thank you so much for coming out and celebrating the beginning of a new chapter for the class of 2022.”
