Danbury falls to Old Fort, 56-36

DANBURY TWP. — Old Fort took an early lead and never looked back, defeating Danbury, 56-36. Laini Gillett scored a game-high 18 points, Morgan Miller finished with 11 points and Jenna Clouse chipped in with 10.

The Stockaders led 21-7 following the first quarter before the Lakers (4-11, 2-8 SBC River) cut the deficit to 31-22 at halftime. But the Old Fort defense held Danbury in check, holding them to just 14 points in the second half.

Annie Tibbels and Kayla Rodriguez scored 10 points apiece to lead the Lakers.

Lakota 60, Danbury 49

A competitive game saw Lakota pull away in the second half to defeat Danbury, 60-49. The Raiders led 30-28 at halftime before winning the third quarter, 19-8, to take a 49-36 lead into the fourth.

Madison King had a game-high 19 points and Aliza Dauternan finished with 10 points. Kalee Rakosky and Maddie Harris each scored nine points.

Danbury boys fall to Lakota, 57-46

Danbury hung with Lakota during the first half but the Raiders pulled away in the second half in its 57-46 victory over the Lakers. Lakota led 28-24 at halftime and pushed the advantage to 40-30 following the third quarter.

Carter Reinhart led the Raiders with 18 points and Jay Metz scored 17. Noah Stys led the Lakers with 18 points and Ian Kuzma scored 14.
