Danbury makes easy work of Monclova Christian

DANBURY TWP. – Danbury took control from the outset, grabbing a 19-point lead after the first quarter before cruising to a 57-35 victory over Monclova Christian. The Lakers (5-12) also led 34-13 at halftime.
Noah Stys had a game-high 20 points to lead Danbury and Kaden Conrad scored 10 points. Matt Meyer had 15 points to lead the Thunder.
Danbury routs St. Joseph Central Catholic

FREMONT — Danbury took control early in its game with St. Joseph Central Catholic and defeated the Crimson Streaks in convincing fashion, 59-38.
The Lakers led 16-8 after the first quarter and 33-16 at halftime. Danbury (5-12, 3-8 SBC River) shot the ball well, connecting on 25-of-50 shots, good for 50%. The Lakers held SJCC to just 7-of-32 shooting, good for 22%.
Kayla Rodriguez led all scorers with 17 points, Annie Tibbels finished with 14 and Grace Hollenbeck scored 10. Kim Burns scored 15 points to lead the Streaks.
Huron 43, Danbury 38
Huron took an early lead and was able to fend off a Danbury rally in its 43-38 victory over the Lakers. The Tigers led 10-3 after the first quarter and 13-11 at halftime. Huron took a 29-28 lead into the fourth quarter.
Rae Roldan had a game-high 19 points to lead the Tigers and Madison Belden scored 11 points. Kalee Rakosky had 10 points to lead Danbury.
