Old Fort defeats Danbury, 72-46.

BY YANEEK SMITH, BEACON CONTRIBUTOR        DANBURY TWP. — A big first quarter was all Old Fort needed to defeaT Danbury, 72-46. The Stockaders led 28-9 after the first quarter and increased the lead to 48-21 at halftime.
Old Fort (13-5, 11-1 SBC River) had 11 players score and Zach DeWese Led the way, scoring 15 points. Colin Nutter finished with 13 points.
Danbury (5-14, 2-10) got a game-high 28 points from Noah Stys.

Danbury girls fall to New Riegel

New Riegel took an early lead and defeated Danbury, 35-24 in Sandusky Bay Conference River Division action.

The Blue Jackets got 13 points from Aubrey Bueller and 10 from Brooklyn Gilleg. The Lakers got seven points apiece from Annie Tibbels and Kalee Rakosky.
